A Stitch in Time

This treatment was a second-semester advanced conservation term and research project.  The purpose was to conduct and entire treatment from start to finish.  We were responsible for choosing our own objects based on the skills we wanted to learn or perfect.  My project introduced me to agarose poultice treatments, using Orvus foam, and wet cleaning on a suction table while developing my skills in research and context, adhesive treatments, and mounting.  The project was completed over three months from February to May 2016.
